Už třetím rokem naše škola spolupracuje se školou Ahad Ha'am z města Petah Tikva v Izraeli. V letošním školním roce se do projektu zapojila třída 4A8.

Studenti měli jedinečnou příležitost představit izraelským vrstevníkům české svátky, tradice a kulturní zvyklosti. Společné online meetingy však přinesly i hlubší rozměr – mohli jsme se zeptat na to, jak se žije teenagerům v zemi, která se aktuálně nachází ve válečném konfliktu.

Projekt byl nejen cennou osobní zkušeností, ale také výbornou příležitostí procvičit si angličtinu v reálné komunikaci a navázat kontakt s vrstevníky z druhé strany světa. Jsme rádi, že v této spolupráci můžeme pokračovat i nadále.

Cultural Exchange Across Borders: Israeli Students Collaboration with the Czech Republic

Throughout the school year, we had the unique opportunity to engage in a meaningful and enriching collaboration with students from the Czech Republic. This international project was more than just a series of Zoom calls—it was a bridge between cultures, ideas, and people.

Over the months, we met several times online and explored each other's traditions and celebrations through lively conversations and creative video clips. We shared insights about our respective holidays, offering a glimpse into the values, customs, and stories that shape our national identities. It was inspiring to discover both the similarities and the beautiful differences between our cultures.

In addition to discussing holidays, we also had heartfelt conversations about the topic of the war. These dialogues allowed us to reflect on the issues together with empathy and maturity.

What made this experience truly special was the authentic connection we developed. It wasn’t just about learning facts—it was about meeting real people, listening to their stories, and building friendships beyond borders.

This collaboration was not only educational but also truly enjoyable. We laughed, learned, and grew together, making memories that will stay with us after the school year ends. We are grateful for this opportunity and look forward to more global partnerships in the future!
